This work uses multiple media transfers from super8 film, home telecine, TV screen re-filming and framing to re-contextualize and explore images of mechanical and biological transformations.
A VHS recording showing the movements of a cast iron mechanical money box reappear having been re-cast as a wax candle. This transferring from one media to another, one object to another an action into a sound conveys a fascination with culturally haunted legacies.
